Refund Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026. Unused prepaid balance is refundable; consumed usage is not. Here is exactly how refunds work.

1. Prepaid balance model

CheapEC2.com works on a prepaid balance: you fund an account with USDT, crypto or local bank transfer, and usage is metered per second from that balance. Because there are no 1–3 year Savings Plan commitments, you never prepay for capacity you will not use.

2. What is refundable

Unused balance is refundable. If you stop using the service and have funds left in your balance, you can request a refund of the unused amount at any time. We may ask you to confirm that all instances have been stopped first.

3. What is not refundable

Usage that has already been consumed — seconds of instance time already metered and billed — is not refundable. This is equivalent to paying for electricity you already used. We do not refund the cost of instances that ran, even if they ran by mistake.

4. How to request a refund

Email info@cheapec2.com with the subject “Refund request” and include the account identifier and the amount to refund. Our team will confirm the balance, stop any running services if needed, and process the refund.

5. Processing time

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of approval. Refunds go back to the original payment method where possible. Crypto refunds are returned in the same currency at the applicable rate on the day of processing, less any network transfer fees incurred.

6. Exceptions and abuse

We may withhold a refund where we reasonably suspect fraud, chargeback abuse, violation of our Terms of Service, or where required by applicable law. Repeated refund requests for the same balance may also be declined.

7. Disputes

If you believe a charge or deduction is wrong, contact us within 30 days at info@cheapec2.com and we will investigate. Where we cannot resolve a dispute directly, we comply with applicable consumer-protection procedures in your jurisdiction.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
